简介 :
俗名錢鰻、薯鰻、虎鰻、大斑裸胸鯙。棲息於礁區、3-30公尺，無毒性，不可食用，無觀賞價值，不是經濟性魚類，分布於印度至西太平洋，產於臺灣西部、南部、西南部、北部、東北部、澎湖，最大體長180 cm，模式種產於中國廣東。
形態特徵 :
以前所紀錄之澎湖裸胸鯙(Gymnothorax pescadoris Jordan & Evermann, 1902 )為本種之同種異名
瀕危狀態 : 不在IUCN瀕危名單中
